Gorum receives master’s degree

Megan Gorum of Atmore, received a master’s degree in church and community ministries on May 14, at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Gorum, a volunteer at First Baptist Church in Kenner, La., is the daughter of Andy and Wanda Gorum of Atmore.
One of the world’s largest accredited seminaries, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary offers associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in biblical studies, theology, pastoral ministry, church history, Christian education, counseling and music. The seminary is owned and supported by the Southern Baptist Convention.
Gorum’s home church is First Baptist Church in Kenner, La. She holds the bachelor of arts degree from Judson College in Marion.
