An Atmore Work Release Center inmate escaped while working in the program early this morning, according to reports.

The inmate, 37-year-old Javarus Ridgeway, made his escape at around 7:30 a.m.

Those with information on Ridgeway’s whereabouts, are asked to call their local law enforcement agency or call the Alabama Department of Corrections at 1-800-831-8825.
