Fall football practice begins for EA, soon for Northview, Escambia County High School
The long wait is almost over for football as local high school teams will start fall practice in the coming weeks.
Escambia Academy kicked off its practice schedule on July 24 because it will be playing in a preseason game — the 2017 SECIS Kickoff Classic — against First Baptist School of Charleston, S.C., on Aug. 12, in Montgomery.
Escambia County High School will start practice on Mon., Aug. 7.
The Blue Devils are slated to play in a preseason jamboree on Aug. 25.
Northview starts practice July 31 for non-contact, and Aug. 5 for contact.
The Chiefs travel to play Vernon, Fla. on Aug. 18 in a kickoff classic.
