Escambia County’s pace was too much for Alma Bryant in the fourth period of a 91-76 victory at the Gulf Shores Thanksgiving Classic tonight.

The Blue Devils outscored the Class 7A team 31-11 in the final period of a game that had four finish in double figures.

Demetrion Barnes led ECHS with 24 points; Malike Brown and Lue Williams had 22 points each; and John Dirden added 10 points. Xavier Lymon chipped in 9 points.

Alma Bryant’s leading scorer had 47 points.

ECHS plays tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. against Gulf Shores, and then at 6:30 p.m. against Spanish Fort.
