An Orlando, Fla. man died in a single-vehicle crash on Aug. 6 at the 63.7 mile marker on Interstate 65, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Sgt. Derek R. Gessner said in a release that the crash occurred at 6:56 p.m. on Monday.

Gessner said Robby Hudson Dalsasso, 56, was killed when the 2014 Freightliner he was driving left the roadway, struck a tree and burned.

“Dalsasso was pronounced dead on scene,” he said.

The crash occurred 6 miles north of Atmore, and Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
