Hurricane Michael a Category 4 storm as it approaches coastline

Over night, Hurricane Michael strengthened into a Category 4 storm as it heads to the Florida Panhandle.
According to the National Weather Service, at 4 a.m., Michael was located with a maximum sustained winds of 140 mils per hour.
At present, Atmore and the surrounding areas are under a tropical storm warning from now until further notice.
Hurricane Michael is expected to make landfall this afternoon in the vicinity of Panama City as a dangerous Category 4 storm.
As for the local area, the storm surge watch has been canceled for Escambia Coastal (Fla.), Okaloosa Coastal and Santa Rosa Coastal counties.
