Mrs. Dolores “Jean” Sawyer, 75, passed away on Sept. 3, 2019 in Pensacola, Fla.

Mrs. Sawyer was a native of Salina, Kan., former resident of New York City and had resided in Molino, Fla. for the past 25 years.

She was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict serving with the U.S. Army. She enjoyed art making, repairing porcelain dolls and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Eula Stermer.

She is survived by two sons, Tom (Lori) Sawyer of Walnut Hill, Fla. and Lawrence Sawyer of Molino; two sisters, Joany (Ray) Linam of Atmore and Janet (Bill) Moore of Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren, Sara Sawyer and Destinee Sawyer.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
