Ms. Marion Denise “Niecy” White, 64, a native of Atmore, answered the Master’s Call on Sun., September 15, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.

A native of Atmore, Marion was a 1972 graduate of Escambia County (Ala.) High School. She graduated from Alabama State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree from Troy University (Bay Minette) with a degree in elementary education.

She was employed with the Escambia County (Ala.) Board of Education for 36 years. She shared her love for education throughout Flomaton Elementary, Flomaton Middle and Flomaton Alternative Schools.

She was a member of Greater Mt. Triumph Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a trustee board member, a Sunday School teacher, vacation bible school instructor and a member of the combine choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary Ethel Palmore; and her grandparents.

Those left to cherish the memories left from her life are a daughter, Tanisha White of Tuscaloosa; a son, Jacob (Genevie) Primm of Tacoma, Wash.; two adorable grandsons, Dylan and Aaron White of Tuscaloosa; an adopted son, Jeremy Dunn of Flomaton; three brothers, the Rev. Donald Ray (Glenda) Palmore of Baltimore, Md., Larry Primm of San Antonio, Texas and Michael (Regina) Primm of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven sisters, Angela Montgomery, Jackie (Archie) Staples and Emma Primm, all of Atmore, Juanita Primm of Montgomery, Sherry (Rick) Ikner of Jacksonville, Fla., Cynthia (Cordell) Pitts and Janice Primm of Saulsberry, Md.; two aunts; one devoted, Rutelia America of Atmore and Esther Williams of Pensacola; an uncle, Willie James Rudolph of Antioch, Tenn.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, classmates and friends.

Funeral service were held September 21, 2019 at Greater Mt. Triumph Missionary Baptist Church of Atmore with the Rev. Willie Hawthorne and the Rev. Donald Ray Parker (her brother), as pastor, of Good Samaritan Baptist Church, Baltimore, as eulogist. Inhumation was in Fairview Cemetery with TURNER FUNERAL CHAPEL directing.
