The Concerned Citizens of Atmore announced Monday it’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day events.

The Dr. M.L.K. Unity Prayer Breakfast will be held Sat., Jan. 18, 2020, from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Atmore Community Hospital Mason Auditorium. Those interested can make a donation of $12 at the door or purchase a ticket.

The Dr. King’s March/Parade and Memorial Program will be held Jan. 20, MLK Day, at 10 a.m. The parade will begin at Houston Avery Park and will end at Emanuel Faith Center with activities that include a guest speaker, entertainment, dinner and award presentations.
