Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

If you miss it, it’s lost forever.
The other day, I was driving down one of my favorite streets of Atmore, and noticed something that put a smile on my face.
There were two boys and an older gentleman chasing each other in the front yard of a residence.
Now, I don’t know whether they were his children or nephews, all I know is that they were all having fun. The smiles on their faces put a smile on my face.
Pretty soon, they all noticed that I was looking at them and the older gentleman sent me a wave. I waved back and moved on to the basketball game I had to get to.
While at said game, halftime arrived and all of a sudden, children started to play around on the hard court, shooting the basketball and trying to steal it from their friends.
The joy on their faces was addicting, and I couldn’t look away.
Then, I thought about a common site I see just about everywhere I go.
Recently, I went to Northwest Escambia’s Bradberry Park to interview a coach about an upcoming football event the teams were participating in in Atlanta, Ga.
While walking to the football field, where the teams were practicing, I noticed everybody in their cars looking at one thing — you know what it is.
Please, I encourage you, to put the phone down and enjoy the moments that may be lost forever, or ones that you’ll more than likely forget.
I will, too.
