Miss Brittany Nicole Pace, 11, of Century, died Thursday, November 22, 2001.
She was a lifelong resident of Escambia County. She attended Carver Middle School where she was a a member of the band.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Tammy Carver; grandfather, William Pace and great-grandmother, Etta Boutwell.
Miss Pace is survived by her father, Bryant Pace of Century; half-sisters, Ashley Pace of Century and Mallory Carpenter of Brewton; grandmother, Margaret Pace of Century; uncles, Steven Pace, Elbert "Bo" Pace, Malcom Harrelson and Michael Harrelson; aunts, Audrey Fawley, Susan Paul and Diane Boatwright; grandfather, James Harrelson and grandmother, Nancy Barbarrow.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 26 at 10 a.m. at Jay Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Helen Stewart and Bro. Hadley officiating.
Burial was at Travelers Rest Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Billy Ellis, Steven Pace, Roy Fowley, John Leina, Chris Pace and Branden Carn.
Jay Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
