The Escambia County Healthcare Authority announced this morning that there are 11 reported and confirmed cases of COVID-19 in its hospitals.

According to its biweekly report, there are nine confirmed cases reported out of Atmore Community Hospital with 178 specimens collected and 160 negative results. Four results are pending and one is inconclusive.

There are two confirmed cases reporting out of D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital with 106 specimens collected, 93 negative results, 11 pending and no inconclusive results.

The numbers may be different than the Alabama Depart of Public Health’s due to the timing of release.

According to the ADPH, there are 12 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Escambia County, Ala. with 212 specimens collected and no confirmed patient deaths.

In the state, there are 4,404 confirmed cases with 37,848 specimens collected and 137 confirmed patient deaths.
