Mr. Robert Lee Parker, 91, passed away on Thurs., July 30, 2020 in Pensacola, Fla.
Mr. Parker was a native and lifelong resident of Rabun. He was a lifelong and accomplished farmer. He is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Melba Virginia Parker; son, Larry Robert Parker; and great-granddaughter, Meagan Meyers.
He is survived by three sons, Russell (Helen) Parker of Rabun, Jeff (Brenda) Parker of Rabun and Shane (Katie) Parker of Rabun; one daughter, Annette Thomley of Rabun; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Mon., Aug. 3, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Rabun Church of God with Bro. Jim Sowell and Bro. Randal Short officiating.
Burial will follow at Guy’s Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held today, Sun., Aug. 2, 2020 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Tony Parker, Peewee Parker, Bo Parker, Bryan Parker, Brandon Parker and J.W. Joiner.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
