59 percent of voters in Escambia County turned out for election

Some 59 percent of Escambia County, Ala. voters turned out for the 2020 General Election on Nov. 3.
Escambia County Chief Clerk Natalie Rodgers said this morning that 15,907 total votes were cast, not including the provisional ballots. The provisional ballots will be counted next week.
Rodgers said exactly 58.52 percent of registered voters turned out for the election.
Seven-thousand-seven-hundred-and-forty voters selected the Republican straight party ticket. More than 3,990 selected the Democratic ticket.

Additionally, county voters voted yes on statewide amendments 1-6, along with the local amendment.
