Mrs. Margie Louise Quick, 69, passed away on Sat., Feb. 6, 2021 in Pensacola, Fla.
Mrs. Quick was a native of Century, Fla., former resident of Byrneville, Fla. (where she spent most of her life) and had resided in East Brewton for the past 15 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an honorary member of the Damascus Community Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jean Day and Glannie Pearl Boatwright; and brothers, Jerry Wayne Boatwright and Charles Edward Boatwright.
She is survived by her husband of nine years, Eugene Quick of East Brewton; three sons, Dewey Carl Boatwright of East Brewton, Clarance William Odom of East Brewton and Lee Edward (Kerry) Odom of Paul; one daughter, Daisy Louise Odom of East Brewton; two brothers, Doug Boatwright of Pensacola and Billy (Diane) Boatwright of Century; four sisters, Gloria Jean (Ray) Lawson of Century, Judy (David) Tillery of Atmore, Mary Sue (Jr.) Walston of Century and Kathy Marie (Donald) Walston of Pensacola; six grandchildren, Daisy Kay Walston, Ida May Walston, Donna Lynn Walston, Christina Walston, Anthony Aaron Odom and Tonnis Kirby Odom; and three great-grandchildren, Zeyden, Nevaeh Skylar and unborn baby.
Funeral services will be held this Thurs., Feb. 11, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Cosey officiating.
Burial will follow at the Emmons Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Feb. 11, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Arthur Bartlett, Jefferson Clark, Jeremiah Walston, Jason Thomas, Zachary Pendleton and Dale Pendleton.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC in Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
