A graveside service for Michael D. Lovett was held Feb. 20, 2021 at Gethsemane North Cemetery in Prichard.

Elder John R. Gant presided.

Lovett was a lifelong resident of Prichard, and passed away on Feb. 13, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Simmons Lovett; fathers, Cleo Stewart and Lloyd C. Lovett; siblings, the Rev. Charles Nettles, Lloyd Lovett, Tyrone Lovett Sr. and Jerome Lovett.

He leaves to cherish his memory, four brothers; devoted brother, CWO4 Harold (Brenda) Lovett of San Diego, Calif., Cecil (Cassandra) Lovett, Gary L. Miller and Marvin Miller; four aunts; a goddaughter; and many special friends, nieces and nephews.

Services were entrusted to Mayberry Funeral Home of Atmore.
