The Escambia County High School National Honor Society and the Student Government Association will be having a fall carnival on today, Oct. 28, at the school from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. for children aged three to 10 years old. The first10 tickets will be priced at $3, and each additional ticket will be 50 cents.

Sheryl West, advisor for the National Honor Society, said that the carnival should be a lot of fun for a great cause.

“There will be plenty of things for the little children to do,” she said. “There will be games where they can win prizes as well as a cakewalk and plenty of candy. The National Honor Society, and the Student Government Association, with advisor Andrea Chance, are trying to make enough money to be able to take a trip in the spring, and the funds raised will be used for that purpose.”
