The Pride of Atmore held its construction kickoff celebration wine and bourbon tasting event at the Old Hardware Store on June 24.
Many turned out for the event, which signifies the beginning of construction and renovation of the Strand Theatre and the hardware store.
Wine and rum from Perdido Vineyards; bourbon from Big Escambia Spirits LLC; and a finger-food spread highlighted the event.
