Betty Lou (Dunn) Gregg, 71, passed away on Aug. 25, 2021 in Atmore.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Maurice Gregg; her father, Odis C. Dunn; her mother, Ruby E. “Liz” Dunn Davis Boone; her step-father, Hilton P. Davis; and her brother, Roy Wayne Dunn.

Betty had special love for her feline companion, Aubie; her special friend, James Michael Coker; and her lifelong friend, Alan Etheridge.

She is survived by her siblings, Evelyn Joan (Bruce) Lang of Brandon, Miss., Linda Joyce Morgan of Hilham, Tenn., Thomas Henry (Donna) Davis of Mineola, Autrey Edward Davis of Davisville, Fla., Lois Jean (George) Mahony of Atmore, Peggy Sue Dunn of Atmore, Billy Ray (Ruthie) Dunn of Atmore and David Glenn Dunn of Atmore; along with numerous nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

A private family viewing will be held at a later date. The family asked that facial mask be worn due to the current healthcare crisis.

An inturnment will follow in Newport, Tenn. at a later date.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
