Deputies with the Escambia County Police Department have been busy searching for a Perdido man after being declared missing by his mother.
Woodrow Judge "Token" Allen, a 25-year-old white male, was last seen walking through a stretch of woods between his house in Nokomis and a friend's house in a nearby trailer park. According to Sheriff Tim Hawsey, it is a walk Allen took on numerous occasions.
Hawsey said Allen's mother contacted the sheriff's office on Monday, Dec. 17. She told officials that she had not seen her son since Thursday, Dec. 13.
Allen lives on Ammons Road, which travels along the Escambia and Baldwin county lines. He lives on a section of that road that is in Escambia County.
Hawsey said investigators have questioned 14 people regarding the disappearance and are currently seeking others that may have information.
At this point, Hawsey said no evidence has been found indicating foul play. However, he said there is some reason for suspicion.
One of the people interviewed by investigators told them he heard Allen had been killed and was thrown into Dyas Lake in Baldwin County. A dive team brought in by the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office were unable to find anything in the lake during a search on Wednesday.
Hawsey said other events leading up to the disappearance adds to the suspicious nature of the case.
Escambia County officials have searched the wooded area where Allen was last seen. Deputies have been using horses and four-wheelers to conduct the search.
According to officials with the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, Allen was charged with burglary earlier this year. He has been arrested 11 times in Baldwin County.
Escambia County deputies were still searching for Allen on Friday afternoon.
