Emmett Lee Gulley Sr. “Butchie” was born on Dec. 18, 1973 in Tennessee to the late Rosie L. Gulley and Monroe Bowers.

He departed this life on Wed., Jan. 22, 2022 at North Baldwin Hospital in Bay Minette.

He was preceded in death by his mother; sister, Cynthia Diane Gulley Boggan; his grandparents, Willie and Corine Gulley; three aunts, Barbara Jean Lett, Martha Gulley and Edna Gulley Parker; and an uncle, Henry Gulley Sr.

Emmett leaves behind a son, Emmett Gulley Jr.; devoted brother in law, Garfield Boggan; two sisters, Pamela Pendleton of San Diego, Calif. and Marie Smith of Memphis, Tenn.; four step-children, Lajavia Crook, Demarion Faulkner, Zendra Griffin and Emmanuel Gulley; two aunts, Alice (Richard) Bethea of Bay Minette and Mary Johnson of Arverne, N.Y.; three uncles, Willie (Vinie) Gulley of Carson, Calif., Gerald Gulley of Atlanta, Ga. and Bryce (Yolanda) Gulley of Binghamton, N.J.; devoted aunt, Frances Gulley of Brewton; God mother, Marieas Hale of Bay Minette; friend, JoAnn Anderson of Bay Minette; and a host of card gaming friends.
