Wanda Booth Marshall, 78, of Stanley Crossroads, passed away on March 9, 2022. She was born on December 28, 1943 in Stanley Crossroads to J.P. and Ila Byrd Booth.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Shine Hammond; and special companion, Royce Pierce.
She is survived by her children, Jeffery Scott Marshall (Cindy Shaw) of Fort Wayne, Ind., Amanda Leigh Hogue (Frankie Fails) of Stanley Crossroads, Ricky (Brandy) Pierce of Walnut Hill, Fla. and Heather (Alan) McDearmond of Cullman; her sister, Ella Max Pettis of Foley; daughter in law, Suezette Brown of Pensacola, Fla.; her grandchildren, Amber and Ricky Carpenter, Bradley Brown, Kacie Brown (David Pugh), Anna Hogue (Tylor Qualls); many other grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on March 14, 2022 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Knowles officiating. Interment followed at Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery in Stanley Crossroads.
Active pallbearers were be Ricky Carpenter, David Pugh, Jessie Fails, Frankie Fails, Tim Lee and Greg Fillmore.
Honorary pallbearers were Gabriel Carpenter and Mason Carpenter.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
