Mr. Thomas Edward Short, 89, passed away on Sat., May 14, 2022 in Bay Minette.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil S. (Lillie Dickey) Short; wife of 71 years, Anna (Russell) Short; one grandson, Nicholas Dale Short; one adopted daughter, Cathy Frith; one brother; and one sister.
He is survived by his two sons, Dale Edward (Judy) Short, of Dothan and Randall Lee (Debra) Short, of Bay Minette; four grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held tomorrow, Mon., May 16, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery 20043 Pleasant Grove Rd., Vance, AL, with the Rev. Danny Avery officiating.
Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Vance.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions can be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church 20043 Pleasant Grove Rd. Vance, AL 35490 in his honor.
