Freightliner tractor catches fire after crash on Interstate 65 Saturday

A freightliner tractor became fully engulfed in flames after a crash on Interstate 65 on May 14, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Senior Trooper Anna Peoples said in a release that the crash occurred at 6:10 a.m. on May 14 at the 51.4-mile marker.
Peoples said the driver, Roderick J. Tejeda, 51, of Richmond, Ky., ran off the roadway and struck a guardrail.
Peoples said the 2019 Freightliner Tractor became fully engulfed in flames, and the road was closed for approximately 3 hours, 45 minutes.
No other vehicles were involved and no one was injured, she said.
