Glenda Manning Mason, 71, of Atmore, passed away on Dec. 5, 2022 in Atmore.

She is preceded in death by her parents who raised her, Benjamin and Alice Manning; her mother, Emma Manning Huggins; her step-father, Grady Huggins; her husband, Marvin Mason Jr.; and her siblings, Buddy Manning, Jerry Manning, Bonnie Manning, Edna Ard, May Goodale and Evelyn Cowan.

She is survived by her son, Bryan Mason of Talladega; her daughters, Janet (Dennis) Jarrell of Atmore, Tracey (Rusty) Slate of Atmore and Careesa Mason of Atmore; her brother, Robert (Doris) Manning of Elberta; four grandchildren, Nichole McGhee, Tyler Jarrell, Destiny Cook and Jordan Perez; along with six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Dec. 9, 2022 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Earl Harrison officiating. Interment followed in Serenity Gardens in Atmore.

Active pallbearers were Bryan Mason, Tony Jones, Dennis Jarrell, Jake McGhee, Rusty Slate, Jordan Perez and Tyler Jarrell.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
