Joyce Phillips Sellers, 76, of Atmore, passed away on March 7, 2023.

She was born on March 25, 1946 in Atmore to Harvey Lester and Glenda Mildred Ellison Phillips.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harry Burton “Buck” Sellers; and her brother, William Harvey “Bill” Phillips.

She is survived by her son, Leonard Ray (Leslie) Sellers of Atmore; her daughter, Vicki S. (J.B.) Gulsby of Uriah; her brother, Joseph A. (Becky) Phillips of Atmore; her sister, Barbara (Wayne) Harrison of Atmore; and her grandchildren, Noel, Haley, Heather, Jackson and Myles.

Funeral services were held on March 11, 2023 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kevin Garrett officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Rodney Helton, Travis Harrison, Jarard Phillips, Chris Harrison, Jonathon Phillips, Mike Helton and Michael Harrison.

Honorary pallbearers were the ladies Sunday school class of First Baptist Church of Atmore.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
