Alabama Power Co. officials said today that about 3,200 are without power in the Atmore area after the line of storms that blew through this morning.

Beth Thomas, who is over Alabama Power’s Mobile Division, said crews are working to make repairs and restore service for everyone.

“Meanwhile, we want to remind customers about our online outage map where they can get updates on outages and restoration across the state,” Thomas said. “Additionally, customers can sign up for our outage alerts to receive emails or text messages regarding outages and restoration at their particular location.”
