CACC to host active shooter disaster drill on Fairhope Campus, Mon., July 10

On Monday, July 10, Coastal Alabama Community College will host a disaster drill involving the sound of gunfire on the Fairhope Campus.  This exercise will provide critical training to emergency responders, including the College’s Nursing and EMT Departments, the Coastal Alabama Police Department, Baldwin Area Mutual Tactical Response Team, the Fairhope Police Department, the Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department, Baldwin County EMA, Baldwin County E-911, the Baldwin County Coroner’s Office, MedStar, AirCare, and South Baldwin Regional Medical Center.

The sound of gunfire will be involved in this drill.  This exercise will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10 in the Borom Building (J) and Centennial Hall (E).

Participating agencies will debrief after the event on the Fairhope Campus.
