Ms. Patricia Ann Smith, 78, passed away on Mon., July 3, 2023, in Atmore.

Ms. Smith is preceded in death by her father, Clark Godwin; and mother, Gwendolin Scruggs.
She is survived by her two sons, John Robert (Lisa) Helton, of Louisville, Ky. and Donovan (Danell) Smith, of Arlington, Texas; one daughter, Melissa Miller, of Midlothian, Texas; four sisters, Joyce Rhinehart, of Atmore, Gloria (Roger) Pelletier Bristol, Conn., Delores Palozie, of New Hartford, Conn. and Kathryn Lisa (Andrea) Lips, of Milton, Fla.; numerous grandchildren; special friend and minister, the Rev. Patrick Madden; and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held this Fri., July 7, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC with the Rev. Josh Long officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on July 7, 2023 from 1 p.m. until service time at Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Madden, Roger Pelletier and Donovan Smith.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
