Atmore 15-year-old All-Stars begin play Thursday in Tallassee

The Atmore 15-year-old Babe Ruth All-Stars are playing in a state tournament at Tallassee July 6-8.
The tournament format is pool play July 6-7, and bracket play July 8.
Teams in Pool A include Brewton, Monroeville, Grand Bay and Tallassee.
Teams in Pool B include Atmore, Monrovia, Opp and Sylacauga.
The All-Stars team includes Taylor Curtis, John Hatch, Evan Foster, Bryant Mason, Ben Landis, Luke Chavers, Will Strawbridge, Hayden Sheets, Easton Odom, Sawyer Jackson, A’dan Crabtree and Jayden White.
The coaches are Morgan Mason, Josh Edwards, Lloyd Curtis and Brandon Strawbridge.
