According to Atmore Advance archives, an Atmore woman passed away from injuries after being struck by a vehicle at The Tavern on Highway 31 on Aug. 5.

Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that APD officers responded to the bar at approximately 11:50 p.m. Saturday.

McMann said officers found Hannah Martin with severe injuries and began CPR.
