Relay for Life Atmore is holding its 2023-24 Kick Off Celebration Sept. 30 at Brooks Memorial Baptist Church and Heritage Park.

A survivor celebration brunch will be held from 10 a.m. until noon at Brooks Memorial, 904 McRae St., in Atmore.

Then, a luminary ceremony and survivors/caregivers walk will be held at Heritage Park at 5:30 p.m. the same day.

This marks the first-ever survivor celebration brunch. Every light at the luminary ceremony represents a life taken by cancer, a survivor of cancer or support for a person still fighting the disease.
