Mrs. Violet Jewel Miller Baker, 96, passed away on Thurs., Aug. 18, 2023, in Bay Minette surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert F. (Willie Mae Canady) Miller; two husbands, the Rev. James Oliver Baker and Sidney H. Manning; and three daughters, Gladys Boone, Ola Jean Odom and Jacqueline Hilliard.
She is survived by her one son, Joe Franklin Eddins, of Flomaton; one daughter, Nora Christine (Sammy) White, of Flomaton; one sister, Betty Faye Rackard, of Atmore; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held this Tues., Aug. 22, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC with the Rev. Rickey Tedder officiating.
Burial will follow at Beulah Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. until service time at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC.
Pallbearers will be James Brown, Bryden Brown, Logan Brown, Gavin Bell, Landon Tanton and Shannon Dale White.
Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC of Atmore is in charge of all arrangements.
