Gary Cooper Bouler entered his eternal rest on Aug. 18, 2023.
He was born on Dec. 31, 1931, in Freemanville.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Bouler; and two sons, Gary W. Bouler (Sylvia) of Dothan and Dean F. Bouler of New York, N.Y.
Mr. Bouler was preceded in death by his father, Walter L. Bouler; his mother, Bertha S. Bouler, and five siblings, sisters, Infant Flora Golden Bouler, Willa B. Carroll and Betty J. Turbiville; brothers, W.T. Bouler and Robert E. Bouler.
He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews, too many to name.
Funeral services will be held this Thurs., Aug. 24, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brad Sullivan officiating.
Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort.
Visitation will be held on Aug. 24, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 10:30 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
