Charles Edward Hubert transitioned at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 2, 2023 at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley.

Hubert was the son of the late Walter Hubert/Herbert and Juanita Williams Hubert-King (Marvin L. King).

Charles was the grandson of Percy (Henry Lelar Belle Ross), a native of Georgiana and James Theautry “Autry” (Aline Knight) Williams, a native of Finchburg and a longtime resident of Atmore; great-grandson of Edward (Ella Maye) Herbert, Henry (Selena Ballard) Ross of Butler County and Edmond (Ester “Victoria” Knight) Williams; and Willie (Pearlie M. Locke) Knight of Monroe County.

A graveside service will be held this Sat., Sept. 16, at 3:30 p.m. at Williams Family Cemetery on Jack Springs Road, Atmore, with services entrusted by Turner Funeral Chapel of Atmore.
