Mrs. Alene Godwin Kelly, 80, passed away on Mon., Nov. 20, 2023 in Pensacola, Fla.

She was born on Aug. 7, 1943 in Bay Minette.

Preceding her in death were her parents Houston Marion and Lois Jones Godwin, along with three brothers Jesse Marion Godwin, Sonny Godwin and Stanley Godwin.

Godwin is survived by her husband, Curtis J Kelly of Atmore; two sons, Alan Kelly of Pensacola and Chris Kelly (Victoria) of Canoe; daughter, Janet James of Atmore; brother, Billy Joe Godwin of Miami, Fla.; four sisters, Bonnie Mae Wright of Bay Minette, Hilda Godwin of Perdido, Marie Tuberville, of Perdido and Betty Matthews of Bay Minette; six grandchildren, Derrek Gibson, Tori Gibson, Trinity Gibson, Daylin Gibson, Grace Kelly and Gabe Kelly; and three great-grandchildren, Charity, Lilly and Maggie.

Funeral services will be held on Mon., Nov. 27, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Petty- Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC.

Burial will follow at Godwin Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Nov. 27, 2023 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes LLC.
