Three Escambia County, Ala. high school basketball teams were ranked in the Alabama Sports Writers Association’s first poll, which was released today.

T.R. Miller’s girls basketball team is No. 9 in Class 4A. The Lady Tigers are 8-2 on the season.

In the boys poll, Escambia County was ranked No. 2 in Class 4A. The Blue Devils fell to 6-2 on the season Tuesday night.

TRM was nominated, but not ranked.

In the AISA boys poll, Escambia Academy is No. 4. The Cougars are 6-1 on the season.
