She is survived by one son, Col. Thomas (Bonnie) Latino, United States Air Force retired, of Atmore; a cherished daughter, Phyllis (David) Latino McGee; one grandson, Anthony (Fran) McGee; two great-granddaughters, Faith and Hope McGee, all of McCool, Miss.; her sister, Catherine Fasone Lambert, of New Orleans; two sisters in law, Elizabeth Scardina of Gulfport and Angie (Frank) Armato of Lacombe, La.; and a host of other beloved relatives.

As the wife of a World War II veteran, Anne volunteered for many years with the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Pass Christian, Miss. A sociable person, she enjoyed volunteering with the Volunteer Fire Department in “the Pass.” She especially enjoyed decorating the annual VFD Mardi Gras float.

The family extends special thanks to Carol and “Skip” King of Pass Christian, Miriam and Barney Bieber, and “Aunt Liz” Scardina, all of Gulfport. Their personalities, especially at her 100th birthday party and their Thursday lunches kept Anne young and content. The Latinos and McGees also appreciate this group’s many kindnesses and care of their mother when their own health issues made it impossible for them to be there.

The family also wishes to sincerely thank the staffs of St. Joseph Hospice and Summerfield Senior Living of Gulfport for their love and care during Anne’s final days. The family could not have chosen better professional care and empathy.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 600 S. Main St., Atmore, AL.
