Betty Roark, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and a follower of Christ, passed away at the age of 87 in Atmore on July 4, 2024.

She was born on December 15, 1936 in Chester, Ill. to Levi Brock and Della L. Miller.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Virgil J Roark; her sisters, Ruth Ray (Brock), Dorothy Hardy (Brock) and Shirley Morgan (Brock); her brothers, Levi Brock and Floyd Brock; her children, Virginia Keaveny (Roark) and Virgil Lloyd Roark; and her granddaughter, Danielle Roark.

Betty leaves behind one brother, Robert Brock; two sons, Jerry Roark and Ronald Roark; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Inturnment will take place at a later date in Park Charles Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.
