McMann said the officers made contact with Krouter, and they discovered she was wanted by the Bay Minette Police Department in reference to an active misdemeanor arrest warrant.

“The officers searched Krouter’s handbag, and discovered several dozen suboxone strips and other items that are commonly used to ingest narcotics,” McMann said.

McMann added that Krouter was transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton. The BMPD will be notified by the detention center when Krouter is eligible to be released, he added.
