Alice Faye Heathcock, 81, of Atmore, passed away on July 27, 2024 at her home.

She was born on March 12, 1943 in Atmore to Fonnie and Eugene Baker Davison. Alice is preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Lula Mattie Helton, Joseph Lavin Davison, Nola Leora Hattaway and Willie Jasper Baker; her husband, Thomas F. Heathcock; her sons, Tommy Darrell McCrory and Michael Woodrow McCrory; her stepson, Jeff Heathcock; and her brother, Sam Davison.

Alice is survived by her children, Teresa McCrory (Danny) Dabbs and Jeanne McCrory (Cecil) Corey; her step-son, John (Mary Anne) Heathcock; her grandchildren, Cody Nall, Caleb (Marrissa) Corey, Ashley Coker, Haleigh Staff, Noel McCrory, Daniel Dabbs, Ashley Quinn, Drake Strickland, Talania Smith, Bowyn Heathcock, Riverly Heathcock, Caitlyn Rozier and Meagan Lopez; 17 great-grandchildren; her sister in law, Joan Davison; and many family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wed., July 31, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Cooper and Pastor Steve Breceda officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Don Findley, Daniel Dabbs, Danny Dabbs, Cecil Corey, John Heathcock and Gary Gibson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Caleb Corey and Allen Wells.

Visitation will be held on July 31, 2024 from 10 a.m. until service time at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
