Eunice Mae Eicher Smith was born on May l5, 1925 to Leland and Hannah Johnson Eicher in Gratiot County, Mich.

She peacefully passed away in the early morning hours of August 10, 2024, at Oakwood Retirement Community in Brooksville, Miss., reaching the age of 99 years.

Those left to cherish memories are her son, Larry and Karen Smith, of Surprise, Arizona; daughters, Donna Schneider, Burns, Kansas, Patricia and Mark Johnson, and Marilyn and Royce Schneider, both of Walnut Hill, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, William (Lois) Eicher, Brooksville, Wallace (Judy) Eicher and Wendell (Mary) Eicher, both of Walnut Hill; sister, Imo (Wilbert) Peters; and sister in law, Dolly Eicher, of Brooksville.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jake; son in law, Kale; grandson,

Jacob; two infant great-grandsons; two brothers; and three sisters.

Visitation will be held on Aug. 14, 2024 at the Walnut Hill Mennonite Church from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Thurs., Aug. 15, 2024 at l0 a.m. at the Walnut Hill Mennonite Church with Minister Mike Koehn officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Memorial Gardens.
