Escambia County fell 30-26 to Alabama Christian tonight in its season opener on the road.

Blue Devils head football coach Vincent Harris said the boys played hard.

“It was a good, hard fought game,” Harris said. “The kids fought hard, really hard.”

Harris said ECHS went ahead 20-7 on touchdowns from Cali McCants, Marrion Hooks and Tai Henderson.
