Mrs. Joyce Lanell Bryars, 82, passed away on Fri., Aug. 23, 2024, in Pensacola, Fla.

She was born Nov. 25, 194l, to Robert Agee Jeter and Daisy Bell Davis, and has been a lifelong resident of Mineola.

She is preceded in death by her husband, O.W. Bryars; and one daughter, Renea Pitts.

She is survived by her two sons, Franklin (Angelia) Bryars, of Bay Minette and Timmy (Jackie) Bryars, of Perdido; one daughter, Tammy Bryars, of Mineola; one brother, Robert “Bo” (Lynn) Jeter, of Mineola; four sisters, Louise Jeter, of Mineola, Frances (Cecil) Willis, of Goodway, Shirley (Sam) Hill, of Mineola, Shelby (Jerry) Hayles, of Mineola and Margaret (Tony) Richerson, Bay Minette; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Aug. 27, 2024 at Little River Holiness Church with the Revs. D. L. Harvell, Tony McMillian and Mike Skipper serving as officiates.

Burial followed at Mineola Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jason Bryars, Dakota Bryars, Randall Christiansen, Aaron Hadley, Austin Jennings, Danny Jeter, Jarod Richerson and Matthew Jeter.

Honorary pallbearers were Michael Jeter, Keith Hadley and Agee Jeter.

Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home LLC of Atmore was in charge of all arrangements.
