SouthernCare Hospice holds annual food drive

More than 2,500 pounds of food was donated to area organizations
SouthernCare Hospice raised 2,649 pounds of food and more than $1,500 in donations during its annual food drive.
The annual food drive benefited the Atmore Are Christian Care Ministry food pantry, Drexell and Honeybee’s Donation Restaurant in Brewton and the Youth and Family Community Outreach in Bay Minette.
Total monies raised during the drive was $1,552, according to officials.
Southern Care Hospice officials thanked the staff and community for its support in this year’s food drive.
