Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Chandler Lindsey, 23, of Mobile, and Victoria Lindsey, 25, of Grand Bay, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

“During the interaction with Lindsey, the officer noted her behavior was suspicious,” McMann said. “The officer was given consent to search the vehicle. The officer then contacted the passenger, later identified as Victoria Lindsey, age 25, of Grand Bay.”

McMann said during the search of the vehicle, the officer discovered a small amount of synthetic cannabis (spice) and items used to ingest narcotics.

Both were then transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
