Cantonment, Fla. man arrested Nov. 20 on drug trafficking charges

A Cantomment, Fla. man was arrested on drug trafficking charges on Nov. 20, according to the Atmore Police Department.
Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Scott Foley, 53, was arrested and charged with drug trafficking.
McMann said at approximately 7:45 p.m. on the day of the arrest, an APD officer conducted a traffic stop on Highway 21 in reference to the vehicle displaying a license plate that was registered to a different model of vehicle.
“The officer contacted the driver later identified as Scott Foley age 53 of Cantonment, Fla.,” McMann said. “During the officer’s interaction with Foley, the officer noted suspicious behavior and requested a K-9 unit. The K-9 alerted on the vehicle.”
McMann said during the search of the vehicle the officer discovered over 6 dozen grams of methamphetamine. Foley was then transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.
