An Atmore man was arrested and taken into custody Dec. 16 on sexual abuse and stalking warrants, according to officials.
Atmore Police Department Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said in a release that Anthony Montgomery, 53, was taken into custody on warrants for sexual abuse I and stalking II.
McMann said on Dec. 5, APD officers responded to a local business in reference to a stalking and sexual abuse complaint of an employee that occurred several days in a row.
McMann said officers were able to identify the offender as Montgomery. He added that an investigator obtained the warrants for Montgomery.
He was transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton on Monday.
