Lady Rams earn shutout

The Atmore Christian School Lady Rams earned their first-ever shutout as they crushed the East Hill Christian School Lady Eagles 15-0 last Thursday.

The Lady Rams (5-6, 5-5) dominated the entire game with four runs being scored in the first inning, four more in the second inning and seven in the third to help put the game away.

Offensively, the Lady Rams were led by Charity Hall and Taylor West who each scored three runs in the game. Hall hit 3-for-3, while West was 2-for-4.

Kendra Beachy also had a strong day at the plate going 3-for-4 with a triple.

On defense, Beachy picked up the win in three innings on the mound with three strikeouts.

With the win, the Lady Rams are in the playoffs locking up the third seed in their conference region. They will play Altethia Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Friday at West Florida Baptist in Milton, Fla.
