Atmore football fans have waited a long time for a night like this.
A night when everyone was proud to be a Blue Devil.
Friday night was that kind of night.
In his head coaching debut, longtime Escambia County High School assistant Frankie Bell guided the Blue Devils to their most impressive season-opening victory in recent memory, a 47-6 rout of rival Northview in Bratt.
